Anoushiravani family photos

This darling family braved pretty frigid temperatures today for some pre-Christmas family photos. JT, Crystal, Olive and Jonah bundled up in a wool blanket and did their best to smile through toe-numbing gusts of wind. The kids were absolute troopers, and even mustered a few giggles throughout our time together. JT is a sweet-as-pie daddy [...]

3rd annual soup party

Our 3rd annual soup party and toy drive was a fantastic success! Alec’s homemade soups (Hungarian mushroom and chicken noodle) were delicious, our dear friends all came out to celebrate the season and everyone was so nice to bring an array of super toys. Once again, the donation bin was overflowing with generosity. A big [...]

Even the chicken dance made the list!

Oktoberfest

We got in touch with our German heritage today (read: sausages, deep fried onions, snow cones, beer, face painting, hay mazes, wiener dog races, lederhosen and yodeling). Oktoberfest, Mt. Angel style, is a hoot.

Rockin’ Relay

Adina, Doug, Kevin and Alec braved a late summer downpour and competed in the Rockin’ Relay this morning. Live bands, an urban course starting & finishing at the Amnesia Brewery, good post-race pints of IPA and tasty BBQ’d brats made for a full day with good friends.

Getting ready for little Grayson Dyer…

My friends Allison and Dave are expecting a little baby boy (Grayson Davis Dyer) in mid October. I attended her baby shower today where all the ladies “ooh-ed” and “aww-ed” over the darling blue and brown blankets and onesies – too cute! I am confident that this new baby is going to be a pretty [...]
